The "No-Line" Bifocal: Invisible Blended Segment Technology
For patients who desire the optical stability of a bifocal but find the visible line of a flat-top or round-top aesthetically unappealing, the Blended Invisible Bifocal is the perfect middle ground. This lens is a masterpiece of casting engineering; it features a standard round near-vision segment, but the boundary between the distance and near zones is meticulously smoothed or "blended" during the mold-making process. The result is a lens that looks exactly like a single-vision lens to an outside observer, yet provides the powerful reading magnification that presbyopes require. Unlike progressive lenses, which have a complex corridor of varying power, the blended bifocal maintains two distinct power zones with a very narrow transition area. This provides a much wider and more stable field of vision for both distance and reading than many entry-level progressives. It is an excellent "entry-level" multi-focal for those who are not yet ready for progressives or for older patients who have struggled with the peripheral distortion found in varifocal designs. Our blended lenses are crafted from high-index and standard resins, ensuring clarity and lightweight comfort. By eliminating the "age-telling" line of traditional bifocals, the blended lens offers a youthful appearance without sacrificing the straightforward visual utility of a dual-power lens.

Technological Highlights: Premium Monomers and Coating Integrity
- High-Purity Monomer Selection: We exclusively use high-performance monomers (e.g., MR-series) to achieve superior tensile strength and optical purity, resulting in excellent clarity and minimal risk of yellowing over time.
- Precision Liquid Casting Process: The lenses are produced via a controlled liquid casting method that ensures uniform material density and refractive index consistency across the entire blank, which is critical for accurate therapeutic power zones.
- Advanced Vacuum Multi-Coating (SHMC): Coatings are applied in a high-vacuum chamber, using multiple layers of metallic oxides to create a durable, anti-reflective stack. This process guarantees maximum light transmission and minimal glare.
- Thermal Curing Optimization: A slow and precise thermal curing cycle is employed to maximize the material’s resistance to internal stress, ensuring the finished lens remains stable and optically perfect under varying temperature conditions.
- Integrated Peripheral Defocus Geometry: The therapeutic design is engineered into the mold itself for cast lenses, or applied via digital surfacing for semi-finished blanks, guaranteeing the accuracy and consistency of the myopia control zone geometry.

Penghantaran & Sokongan
- Q: Is the line really invisible?
- A: Yes, it is virtually undetectable to someone looking at you.
- Q: How does it differ from a progressive lens?
- A: It only has two powers (Near/Far), whereas progressives have an intermediate zone.
- Q: Is there a blur in the blend zone?
- A: There is a very narrow area of slight distortion where the blend occurs.
- Q: Are they easier to adapt to than progressives?
- A: Generally yes, as the visual zones are much wider and more stable.
- Q: Can they be used for driving?
- A: Yes, the distance zone is large and clear.
- Q: Do they come in high-index?
- A: Currently most common in 1.50 and 1.56 indices.
- Q: Can I add a blue-light filter?
- A: Yes, this is a popular option for these lenses.
- Q: What is the maximum "Add" power?
- A: Typically up to +3.50D.
- Q: Do they require special frame measurements?
- A: Standard bifocal height measurements are sufficient.
- Q: How do I clean them?
- A: Just like any resin lens; the blend is internal to the material.
